The Buildings and Grounds Department is a service organization tasked with operating and maintaining all York College facilities and seven buildings in the heart of Jamaica, Queens.
The York College Custodial Services unit is committed to providing comprehensive, efficient, and professional green cleaning services to support student success; faculty teaching, scholarship, and creativity; administrative departments; and to members of the broader communities we serve on the College’s fifty-acre campus.
The goal of the Environmental Health and Safety office is to provide efficient and professional service in support of a healthy and environmentally safe campus.
The Facilities Planning mission is to assist the Academic, Student Development, Institutional Advancement, Institutional Development and Effectiveness, and Administrative Departmental goals of the College.
One of the Finest State-of-the-Art facilities in New York City, the York College Performing Arts Center is the perfect setting for productions of any size or scope.
The Special Events Office provides a variety of scheduling and event planning services to the College Community and the public to help them achieve their event objectives and develop an appreciation for the campus.
