The York College Child and Family Center, located on the site of the former St. Monica's church, provides a nurturing environment that fosters a developmentally appropriate environment for children ages 6 mths. to four years old.

We proudly offer high quality child care for children of York College Student parents, Faculty, Staff and community members.

Operating Hours

The Center is open Mondays through Thursdays from 8:30 a.m. to 5:45 p.m.

Friday 8:15 a.m. to 4:15 p.m. The center is closed on weekends.

Infant, Toddler, and Nursery programs run from August to May. In June and July, we follow York College's Summer schedule.

The 3K and UPK schedule for Fall 2025 is Monday to Friday, 8:55 a.m. to 3:15 p.m.

We abide by York Academic Calendar and Department of Education Calendar.

New Expanded Services!

New Programming - The Center will be offering Extended Day Programming in Fall 2025 from 3:30 p.m. - 5:45 p.m. Monday - Thursdays Only. Extended day services will offer a nutritious snack.

Market Rate Fees will apply $60.00 per day Ages 3-5.

Early bird registration: $25 from April 1, 2025- June 1, 2025

Regular registration Fee: $50

  • Now Offering Free 3 K Program for 3-year-olds (Fall 2025)
  • Now Offering Free UPK Services for 4-year-olds (Fall 2025)

Registration for both Free DOE programs will be in April 2025. Seats are limited!

Please note that registration fees are non-refundable.
