Parent Testimonial

The York College Child and Family Center has been a wonderful and amazing experience for both Gael and I. They have been very cooperating, flexible and helpful at all times. Aside from the time care provided during my classes schedule they have always helped me and never said no to provide more time for me to study and do class assignments.

Thanks to the incredible education provided Gael has learned from the basics ABC’s, 123’s & colors to singing a variety of songs, body parts, as well as his manners and greeting politely.  At home we only speak Spanish hence everything he learns in English is thanks to the center. He has also had a huge improvement in interacting and socializing with toddlers his age as well as sharing, since he is an only child.

The Family Center has really helped me out tremendously because I can go to class and take my time to study having the peace and tranquility that my son is in a safe space, in a safe environment well taken care of, where all he is given is happiness, love, and knowledge. Gael has taken some time get use to staying away from mommy since that’s all he knows since day 1, and it’s a bitter sweet moment accomplishment for him to grab Ms. A’s hand followed by saying goodbye blowing kisses and most importantly happy and not crying. This wouldn’t be possible if it wasn’t for the each and everyone’s patient and  help towards Gael and I.
