Dr. Quaye received her doctoral degree in accounting from The University of Scranton, Pennsylvania. She has taught accounting at York College, CUNY, since 2015. Her research focuses on accounting education and effective teaching practices, artificial intelligence in accounting education, student engagement and learning, the accounting pipeline, and experiential learning and professional readiness. She is particularly interested in attracting and retaining students from underserved populations in accounting programs and the accounting profession. Prior to academia, she had an extensive international career in financial and operational management with UNICEF. She is a lifetime member of Beta Gamma Sigma, the international business honor society.
