Dr. Jasmine Bratton-Robinson is a board-certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse with extensive clinical expertise in community and psychiatric-mental health nursing. She has been a faculty member in the York College Nursing Department since Fall 2019, where she is dedicated to preparing future nurses through evidence-based teaching, mentorship, and student-centered learning. Dr. Bratton-Robinson earned her Associate of Applied Science in Nursing from New York City College of Technology, followed by a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and a Master of Science in Nursing Education from Chamberlain College of Nursing. She later completed her Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Nursing Leadership at the University of Southern Mississippi. Her educational philosophy is grounded in the belief that teaching and learning are collaborative processes, with both educators and students growing through shared experiences. Known affectionately by her students as "Dr. Jasmine," she is recognized for fostering an engaging, supportive, and inclusive learning environment that promotes academic success, professional growth, and compassionate nursing practice. In Summer 2026, Dr. Bratton-Robinson took on the role of Interim Undergraduate Program Director for the York College Nursing Department. In this leadership role, she continues to serve as a resource and advocate for students, faculty, staff, and community partners while supporting excellence in nursing education and program development.
