York Library Lost and Found Policy

Did you find something that someone forget in the Library?

Please turn in all found items to the Circulation Desk.

Did you lose something in the Library?

On the same day, please inquire at the Circulation Desk about your lost item. At any later date, please inquire with Public Safety.

The Library ONLY retains lost items until closing time, before transfering the items to Public Safety.

The Library is NOT responsible for lost or stolen items. Please do not leave your belongings unattended.
