Queens Library Joins Forces with York's Library to Serve More

The Queens Public Library Services, which is headquarted only blocks away from York, recently set up a very temporary satelite location adjacent to York College's Library to serve the campus community.

According to Njoki-Wa-Kinyatti, Chairperson/Professor and Chief Librarian of York's Department of Library Services, the event took place on April 25, when Queens Public Library (QPL) brought its services to the York Community.  The event was held at the entrance of York's Library in the north end of the Academic Core Building. Forty five individuals signed up for Library cards and York plans to invite the system to come again for future service.
