The Chi Sigma MSW chapter of Phi Alpha National Honor Society for Social Work was charted on February 23, 2018. On February 22, 2023, the International Office of Phi Alpha Honor Society for Social Work confirmed extending the Chi Sigma chapter to include scholars enrolled in the York College Bachelor of Science in Social Work (BSSW) program.
