Available options for Students

Learning About Your Health Insurance Options

Here, students can learn about their health insurance options and receive assistance with the insurance enrollment process. For further information, please contact Marva Frederick.

You can also visit the New York State Health Insurance Marketplace for more information and options.

Note: Health Insurance Navigators are available on a weekly basis outside the cafeteria on the 1st Floor of the Academic Core Building when classes are in session.

Through the health insurance navigators, students can learn about their health insurance options and receive assistance with the insurance enrollment process.

Managed Care Plans

You may be eligible for New York State’s free or low-cost public health insurance programs. New York state public health insurance plans are managed care plans provided by insurance companies.

The list below provides the contact information for various managed care plans that provide free or low-cost public health insurance to those eligible. The plans below serve all New York City boroughs unless otherwise noted.  In addition, visiting NYC Health Insurance Link can help you assess your eligibility for these programs. These programs are not available to international or out-of-state students.
