Honors Program presents a seminar in Design and Development of Novel Phototriggers for Drug Delivery by Dr. Lee of the Chemistry Department

Dr. Jong I. Lee researches on the development of a drug delivery device. A device that can target specific areas for therapeutic treatment of human beings has been sought after for over a century. Dendrimers are highly-branched molecules that are well known for their capacity to bind to and aid the delivery of biologically active substrates. In this seminar, the brief history and background as well as a new development and discovery at York College will be discussed.
