COVID-19 Vaccine Update: As of fall 2021 CUNY has been notified that some clinical and field placement sites are requiring students to provide documentation of COVID vaccination as part of the necessary clearance requirements. Students are strongly encouraged to consider COVID-19 vaccination as it may potentially impact required program placements. Faculty will explore all alternatives, as available, for those students who choose not to be vaccinated.  If no suitable alternatives are available, this may result in a delay in progression in the program.

The purpose of the program is to:

  1. Prepare a professional practitioner of nursing;
  2. Provide a foundation for graduate study in nursing.
