Why reconnect with York?

If you’ve been away for at least a semester, the York College Reconnect program is here to help you find your way back and actually finish what you started. Whether your goal is to complete your degree or earn credentials that open doors and increase your earning potential, this is your space to restart—with support. This program is designed for former CUNY students who left without finishing, helping you get back on track without feeling like you’re starting over.

And yes, financial support is available to make re-enrollment and completing your coursework more doable.

Sometimes all you need is the right moment, and the right support, to come back.

Eligibility Criteria 

• Must be a transfer/readmit student - For transfer and readmit students, a minimum of a semester gap in college attendance is required.
• 24 years or older
• Must be in good academic standing (GPA of 2.0 or better)
• Bachelor's degree holders are not eligible for this initiative.
