Passionate about social work, I embarked on my MSW journey at York College 11 years post-bachelor’s graduation, initially apprehensive about keeping pace with my cohort. However, I soon discovered my sense of belonging, studying alongside scholars from diverse career paths. Professors, experts in their fields, made learning enjoyable while meeting each scholar at their level. Starting when I did proved to be a pivotal decision, enriching both my in-class and real-world experiences. York indeed embodies a genuine in commitment to unity and growth. With assistance from the York MSW bootcamp, I was able to pass the licensing exam on the first try! So excited to be working in my passion.
