Receiving

Responsible for one hundred percent of shipment deliveries to the College, we accept College-requisitioned parcels from DHL, Federal Express, UPS and other courier services.  All packages are counted, scanned and tagged for delivery to respective departments throughout the campus. Our QTrak scanning and tracking system automatically sends emails to faculty and staff.  Our goal is to deliver packages on the day of receipt or the next business day, depending on the volume.  Parcels weighing over 70 pounds require the end user to submit a Building & Grounds laborers work order request in order for the delivery to be processed.

Coordination

We coordinate with the Purchasing Department and company vendors on determining parcels with incomplete recipient information. We will make every effort to ascertain the intended department destination.

Requesting Copy Paper, Blue Books and Chalk

To request copy paper, blue books or chalk, fill out a supply requisition and submit the form to the Receiving Department.  Please utilize the Receiving door chute slot, located on the Loading Dock side of the office, which is accessible at any time of the day.  Requests are fulfilled within one or two business days.

Our Priorities

Biological and chemical products typically are delivered on the same day because of refrigeration requirements.

Computers and Electronics

Computers and other electronic equipment also receive top priority because of the monetary value.

Tracking Packages

If you need assistance tracking a package that arrived via any of the major courier services, please provide us with a tracking number and we will provide a name, date and time of delivery.
