“My name is Omadevi S. and I am a proud Indo-Caribbean York College alumnus. I am beyond fortunate to have taken advantage of all the opportunities that York has presented to me. Not only was I the first in my family to obtain a college degree but I was also the first in my family to obtain a Master of Science in Pharmaceutical Science and Business (2020) and be Debt Free! The affordability of York and the opportunity to apply for York College Foundation Scholarships gave me my best chance to further my education.  

The curriculum of the Pharmaceutical Science Master Program is taught by professors and faculty who want their students to succeed and are willing to put in the time and effort to present relevant, up-to-date material in the most effective way. I can attest that I am using the knowledge gained through this curriculum in my professional life at the FDA, as well as my academic career as I pursue my Doctor of Pharmacy, Pharm. D. There are so many professors who have encouraged and uplifted me throughout my years at York both in the classroom and in the lab.

I enjoyed learning about the business, regulatory, and research applications of pharmaceuticals as it is a growing and booming industry. I highly recommend this master program to all who are looking for a local, affordable, and real-world application for the pharmaceutical industry”.
