Law Enforcement/Military Graduating Student Award

A monetary award is given to a graduating student who has made a considerable impact on the York College community while working in law enforcement or while currently serving/after being honorably discharged from the military.

This $500 monetary award is given to a graduating student who has made a considerable impact on the York College community while working in law enforcement (including as a CUNY Peace Officer), or while currently serving/after being honorably discharged from the military. To be eligible for this award, you must be in good academic standing (including no findings of misconduct or academic integrity violations). This is a commencement award offered to graduating students. You must have applied for graduation by the designated deadline to be considered. Students should agree to have their photo and bio shared on social media for marketing and enrollment purposes.
