Assessment of Institutional Effectiveness is intentional, ongoing and self-reflective to ensure students' proficiency in the College's institutional learning outcomes (ILOs) upon graduation.
The assessment takes place within the Institutional Effectiveness Framework that is supported by the institutional effectiveness structure and process. The Institutional Effectiveness Committee coordinates the work of the College-wide assessment committees (Academic Assessment Committee, General Education Assessment Committee and Administrative, Educational, and Student Support Assessment Committee) and articulate its work with the reconstituted Strategic Planning Committee. The Institutional Effectiveness Plan is a blueprint that leads York’s assessment culture building and assessment activities, which are aligned with strategic planning, to ensure sustainable and meaningful assessment and improvement.
