Fresh Produce Distribution and Community Resource Fair

Hungry for Knowledge Food Access Initiatives expands its Fresh Produce Distribution to a Community Resource Event at York College allowing the campus community to engage with local NYC resources and services, providing information and other giveaways that can help reduce the stigma associated with public health disparities, such as food access/ insecurity, legal housing assistance, health insurance, housing, and more.

Local organizations and agencies include:

• National Grid
• NYC Commission for Human Rights (NYCCHR)
• Fair Housing Justice Center
• Sexual Assault & Violence Intervention (SAVI) 
• Young Invincibles
• Department of Health & Mental Hygiene (DOHMH)
• Bottomless Closet
• CUNY Edge

Fresh Produce Distribution will be start after 12:30pm. Bring extra bags as needed!
