Frequently asked questions regarding accessibility for students
If you have accessibility needs, make sure to contact the Center for Students with Disabilities. Also, ask your professors to enable accessibility features such as closed captioning in your Zoom class meetings.

Let your computer speak/narrate the text on the screen:
- If you use a Windows 10 machine, to start or stop Narrator, press the Windows logo key + Ctrl + Enter. For more detailed information, check out Hear text read aloud with the narrator.
- If you use a Mac machine, press Option + Esc keys. For more detailed information, check out Listen to Spoken Text.
- If you use a Chromebook, follow the steps in Hear text read aloud.
- If you use an iPad, follow the steps in Hear iPad speak the screen, select text, and type feedback.
- Transcribe your audio to text (You need to use your Office 365 Word for this feature.)
