Resources available to York students

York College’s Carroll and Milton Petrie Student Emergency Fund

The York College’s Carroll and Milton Petrie Student Emergency Fund seeks to assist eligible students coping with an unexpected hardship, so that they may continue their education at York College and become financially aware and responsible for their continued education.

CUNY Comeback Program

CUNY Comeback debt forgiveness program is believed to be the largest of its kind in the entire country. CUNY will be using equitable debt forgiveness to help those who attended CUNY and suffered hardships during the COVID-19 pandemic. CUNY Comeback, along with a new policy to no longer hold the transcripts of students who have outstanding debt to CUNY, will ensure a comeback for our students, our University, and our city.

One York Emergency Relief Fund

One York Emergency Relief Fund Grant application period has reopened, we are now accepting applications.

Food Pantry Program

Hungry for Knowledge, The Food Pantry Program is open to all members of the college community. For more details or to make a request, please stop by Room 3C01 in the Academic Core Building ( foodpantry@york.cuny.edu).
