Math Booster Workshops

The Free booster support math workshops are for students who place in Math 104 (College Algebra) or Math 111 (Statistics and Probability) or Math 120 (Pre-Calculus) and would like additional support during the semester to ensure that they earn the highest grade possible.

 Workshop Details

• All Workshops Are Free
• Access lessons and materials anytime on Brightspace and study at your own pace
• Attend optional weekly one-hour live sessions with an instructor for additional support
• Provide support and help with the weekly work done in the credit class
• Taught by math professor who reinforces the work done in your regular math class 
• Booster math professor works together with your regular math professor

Math 111

September 9 - December 16, Fully Online with Weekly one-hour Optional Live Sessions with an Instructor

Math 120

September 9 - December 16, Fully Online with Weekly one-hour Optional Live Sessions with an Instructor

Registration

Anytime During the Year: Email Success3@york.cuny.edu to Request Workshops, or 

During Registration or Late Registration Periods:

• Go to Schedule Builder and select “2025 Fall”
• Search for “USIP 2006” (College Algebra Booster Skills Workshop) for Math 104 
• Search for "USIP 2008" (Introduction to Statistics & Probability Booster Skills Workshop) for Math 111
• Search for "USIP 2007" (Pre-Calculus Booster Skills Workshop) for Math 120
• Choose section and click “Get This Schedule” at bottom right of screen
• Select “Enroll” in Action column from dropdown menu
• Select “Do Action”
• “Result” column on right side of screen will indicate booster workshop successfully added.
