About Us

The York College Department of Business and Economics offers six undergraduate programs: Aviation Management, Business Administration, Economics, Human Resource Management, Information Systems Management, and Marketing, as well as one Master's program in Aviation Management, two certificate programs, and nine minors.

Accreditation

The Department of Business and Economics is actively pursuing accreditation from the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP). This significant milestone demonstrates our steadfast commitment to academic excellence, continuous improvement, and alignment with both national and international standards across our programs.

Retention

Retention in the Business and Economics Programs

The criteria for retention in the Business and Economics Program are:

  • Grade of "C" or higher in each Business and Economics course or a minimum GPA of 2.0. 
  • Maintenance of a cumulative GPA of 2.0 or higher
