Entrepreneur Hub
The Department of Business and Economics Entrepreneur Hub is a thriving ecosystem—a network of resources and organizations that supports businesses at every stage, helping startups and established companies grow and succeed.
Mission
The Hub foster collaboration between students and the local business community, providing a platform for innovation, learning, and economic growth.
Services
The entrepreneurial ecosystem we offer combines educational programs, mentorship, networking events, business consulting, and financing resources that help businesses, from startups to established companies. We are trying to create fertile ground where business can flourish. An ecosystem that connects the different resources and facilitates the flow of information for small businesses. We are not competing for services that already exist; we want to fill in the gaps.
The primary focus of an entrepreneurial ecosystem is to move knowledge and resources from people who have them to the entrepreneurs who need them.
We have professional resources, such as professors in almost every discipline, such as Marketing, HR, Finance, legal, accounting, cybersecurity, management, supply chain, IT, current and former small business owners, and business executives in various industries. We want to share this knowledge with the community, come close to the community, and work with the community.

Workshops
- Educational programs: we offer educational programs to the community on various aspects of entrepreneurship and small business management.
- Workshops and Training: We offer seminars, workshops, and training programs on various business topics like marketing, finance, legal compliance, human resources, payroll, construction accounting, quick books, business plan development, and various other courses tailored explicitly for entrepreneur and small business

Mentorship
- Connect existing business and aspiring entrepreneurs with experienced mentors who offer guidance and support and add value and insight based on their entrepreneurial experience.
- Most of our faculty members have close ties to industry and may collaborate with small business owners and students on innovative projects that can lead to startups.
- We have a network of successful alum entrepreneurs from York College who can be mentors and provide valuable connections.

Networking
- Networking Events: We will host workshops, conferences, or networking events that allow entrepreneurs and small businesses to connect with potential investors, collaborators, partners, and other business owners. This fosters a sense of community and facilitates knowledge sharing.
- Support Network: Being part of a supportive network allows small businesses and entrepreneurs to share ideas, find encouragement, and learn from each other's experiences.
