PeopleSoft 9.2 Upgrade Information
The PeopleSoft 9.2 upgrade provides many CUNYfirst user interface improvements and ensures vendor support for years to come. For more information on these upgrades, please view an introductory video available from the recently revamped CUNYfirst web page as well as a student demo video shared at the most recent Council of Presidents, Admin Council and IT Steering Committee meetings.
The upgrade is planned to start at 7:30 PM on Thursday, December 16 and finish by 10:00 PM on Monday, December 20th. During this time, the Human Capital Management (HCM) and Finance pillars and related functions will not be available. Students and faculty will have access to the Campus Solution pillar and functions, including vaccine entry and end of semester grading and reporting. Employee vaccine entry will also not be impacted during this time. The CUNYfirst Campus Solutions upgrade to 9.2 is scheduled to occur in the spring 2022.
Once the upgrade is complete Central will be holding daily conference calls with all campuses to insure any and all issues are front and center should there be a need. If you experience any issues after the upgrade that is not related to getting used to the new look and navigation please contact York IT.
Please be advised that the CUNY CIS will be upgrading its current version of PeopleSoft 9.0 to the PeopleSoft 9.2 version. At this point, no new requisitions should be entered into CUNYfirst. Any requisitions entered into CUNYfirst and not approved at COB today will be deleted.
Please also note that there will be a pause in the Business Office’s functionality in CUNYfirst through Friday, December 17, 2021 (End of Day). Phase 1 of the PeopleSoft 9.2 upgrade is scheduled to be completed on December 20, 2021.
We expect to have full functionality on Monday, December 20, 2021 and/or thereafter.
