How do students get a print balance each semester?

Each semester, after students register for classes, they normally receive a print balance before classes start. However, if they register late and IT doesnt have their status before the semester starts, they may receive the print balance late. Normally, late-registered students receive their balance by the first to third week of the semester.

How do I know if I have a balance?

Go to Cardinal Print Portal, log in with your network credentials, and you should be able to see your print balance and other information. Or, if you log in to any library or classroom building lab computers, a small status icon in the upper-right corner will show your balance.

The semester started, but I found out I have no balance to print. How do I get a balance to print?

You can either see staff at the library or IT staff at the welcome center, and one of them should be able to assign you a small balance so you can print temporarily. Also, please submit a Yconnect ticket via the Yconnect portal with your enrollment status so we can inquire and assign an actual balance.

How much balance is assigned to students each semester?

Fall: $50
Spring: $50
Winter: $20
Summer: $40

Can I also use the balance to make copies?

Yes, you can make copies using your print balance. The library has 6 Ricoh copiers where you can log in with your network credentials and make copies.

What are the charges for printing and copying?

Grayscale: 10 cents
Color: 25 cents

Where can I use the print balance to print?

Library, Student Government lab, SEEK lab, All Labs in the Classroom bldg (currently relocated to the 2nd floor at the Science bldg), Physical Ed Lab in Physical Ed bldg.
