Financial Aid (FAFSA and TAP) Application Online Workshop Information

York College offers in-person FAFSA and TAP filing workshops to assist students with completing their applications.

Tuesdays & Thursdays
12:00 PM – 2:00 PM
Across from the Welcome Center (behind the Security booth)
Workshops are not held on public holidays.

No appointment is required. Students are assisted on a first-come, first-served basis.

Important 2025–2026 Filing Deadlines

• The final federal deadline to submit the 2025–2026 FAFSA is June 30, 2026.
• Filing late may result in the loss of financial aid eligibility for Fall and Spring.
• May 22, 2026 is the last day for Fall and Spring enrolled students at York College to have a valid (non-rejected) Student Aid Index (SAI) on file for the 2025–2026 FAFSA to be considered for federal aid.

The 2025–2026 FAFSA and TAP applications have been available since December 2024. Students are strongly encouraged to file as early as possible.

What to Bring

To complete your FAFSA and TAP application, you will need:

• Your Social Security Number
• Your Alien Registration Number (if you are not a U.S. citizen)
• Your 2023 federal and state income tax returns
• Your 2023 W-2 forms and other records of income
• Bank statements and investment records (if applicable)
• Records of untaxed income (if applicable)
• Your FSA ID (to sign electronically)

If you are a dependent student, you will also need most of the above information for your parent(s).
